An absolutely amazing place to stay! Super friendly staff, especially Clare and Tom. They couldn't do enough for you. A true credit to the Eccleston Arms. Loved the bottomless brunch. Great choice of freshly made drinks and wow, what a platter of food too to go with it. Breakfast was hot and tasty too. The suite was stunning. Definitely going to stay here again. Great parking facilities and great outdoor facilities too. Overall, the best place to stay in St Helens. See you all again soon.

Excellent customer service. Very friendly and efficient. Clean rooms and good facilities. Perfect location for our trip to the theatre. Good variety of food on the menus, all well cooked and hubbys dairy intolerance catered for.

The food (evening meal) was excellent, I would eat there again for sure. The room was very nice, a good size and had good facilities. The bed was very comfortable. The pub itself is very nice, and if I had not been so busy, I'd probably have spent a little longer in it.

I enjoyed my stay at The Eccleston Hotel, which was part of a long work trip all over the UK. I found the bar welcoming and a comfortable space to get through some emails in the evening. I think the best part was the food. The steak and ale pie was excellent, as was the hot breakfast.

Welcoming. Loved the building, decor and cleanliness. The staff were amazing and were really helpful. The breakfast was absolutely delicious! Lovely outside areas, beautifully lit at night. The bed was really comfortable. Very few places I’ve stayed have decent towels that don’t wrap around you but the Eccleston Arms had great towels that wrapped around wonderfully!

Everything is beautiful and new and well appointed - from the room to the bar and dining area below. I was upgraded to the suite (room 10) which was a lovely surprise. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. Bathroom was great. I slept well. Staff were lovely and extremely welcoming, helpful and responsive.

The staff are delightful and friendly and the food is great. Full marks to the chef. We would certainly recommend this hotel for a visit to St Helens and the surrounding area.

The room and restaurant were really nice. The creamy mushroom tagliatelle, & the parmesan & rosemary fries were 10/10, alone with the breakfast. We will definitely be booking again!

Excellent value for money. Exceptional room, comfy bed, fabulous large bathroom with walk-in shower. Wonderfully friendly staff, so helpful and made my stay so enjoyable. Big shout out to the landlady Annie and her amazing staff Claire and Dean and not forgetting chef who dished up amazing foodxx
